Caelyn the Cartographer
Needs WorkThis is the well-trodden path of the Sword Coast, a map I have seen a thousand times in every dusty tavern from Neverwinter to Baldur’s Gate. While the draftsmanship is impeccable, it fails to show even a single scar from the entropy you claim is bleeding through the cracks of reality. Where is the Shattered Gate, and why does the land look so vibrant when the whispers of the Star-Touched are supposedly growing louder? A true guide needs more than a generic merchant’s chart; it needs the landmarks of the void to truly prepare a party for the end of all things.
Rules & RAW
Grimwald the Lorekeeper
Needs WorkYou present a standard, unedited cartographic asset from the *Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide*, ignoring the specific entropic bleeds of your 'Shadow of the Void' campaign. According to the *Dungeon Master’s Guide*, page 25, a map should 'show the features that are most important' to your story, yet I see no markers for the Shattered Gate or the influence of the Star-Touched. To rely on a generic regional render without tailoring it to the reality-cracking threats of Chapter 3 is a violation of the meticulous world-building standards outlined on page 24. This lack of concrete detail fails the primary rule of campaign mapping: providing functional, narrative relevance for the Fellowship.
