Worldbuilding & Maps

Caelyn the Cartographer

Needs Work

While the layout of this circular bastion is expertly drafted, it is a map of a well-traveled northern hub, not a gateway to entropic ruin. The branding of 'Icewind Dale' and its optimistic mottos clash violently with a world supposedly bleeding at the seams from the Star-Touched. You cannot claim reality is cracking while presenting a tidy, labeled guide that promises 'Brighter Tomorrows.' To truly guide your players to the Shattered Gate, I require a map that reflects the encroaching void, not a borrowed sketch of a cozy frontier town.

Rules & RAW

Grimwald the Lorekeeper

Needs Work

You present a map of Bryn Shander from the Forgotten Realms, yet your campaign context speaks of the 'Shadow of the Void' and 'Star-Touched' entropy. Per the Dungeon Master's Guide (p. 25), 'Your world is a place where your stories happen,' but these hard-coded labels for 'The Morninglord' and 'Icewind Dale' are immersion-breaking distractions that contradict your unique setting. A proper map must accurately reflect the 'geographical features and points of interest' of the specific campaign (DMG p. 14), not merely serve as a low-effort placeholder with mismatched lore. You have failed to account for the bleeding cracks of reality, offering instead a generic, frozen township that ignores the rules of world-building consistency.
